Anne Poltera
Influenced by an artistic mother and her teachers in school, Anne's artistic talent blossomed, but it is only of recent years that her love of painting has come to the fore in her life and she has become a professional artist.
Anne creates delicate yet passionate works which are both conceptual and tactile. Her use of collage, which runs through most of Anne's work evolved from her using rich hues and her desire to experiment with the vibrant colours she found in a magazine.
She is fascinated by the way using collage 're-invents' the subject she intends to depict according to the different materials she finds.
With the collaging of textiles, papers (including paper she colours herself), sequins and many other materials, Anne uses mainly acrylic and gouache/
With these she creates harmonious works of art with a contemporary style and a timeless concept.
Anne is happy to take commissions within reason.
